100th Anniversary Celebration

TEGMA Members and Friends -

We are excited to be making plans to celebrate TEGMA's 100th anniversary at our annual meeting January 25 and 26, 2018 in Scottsdale.  The Board of Directors is making plans for a very special occasion.

As part of that, we are at work on a special book to commemorate the occasion.  We are working with long-time industry friends at Sosland Publishing Company on a high-quality book that will look back at the key eras and key figures in the grain industry over the last 100 years.

We are hoping each TEGMA member will support this effort through a sponsorship of $500.  Your support will mean your company logo is featured as part of this book which will be broadly distributed within the industry. Please let us know if we can count on your support by reply email to erica.venancio@tegma.org.

Shown below is an illustration of our plans for this keepsake piece of grain industry history.

We are also soliciting historic grain industry photos for inclusion in the book.  Shown further below are two gems that Todd McQueen with The Scoular Company has shared with us.  The first photo shows the floor of the Omaha Grain Exchange in 1950  -- Robert Scoular is in the front, second from left wearing the bow tie.  The second photo shows an early Scoular elevator in Superior, Nebraska.

We would welcome receiving any early photos you may have of this nature, particularly those of industry leaders.  We need to receive those photos by October 15. They can be emailed to bob.petersen@tegma.org.Please let us know if we can count on your company to help sponsor this piece of grain industry history.  Thanks and best regards.

Bob Petersen, President, TEGMA
