TEGMA's Fall Symposium, a popular industry tradition, will offer several new dimensions in 2010. Most significantly, TEGMA will share the dates with the National Grain Car Council whose members will meet on Thursday afternoon, September 16, with TEGMA members invited to attend, as well. TEGMA will hold its meeting on Friday morning, September 17, with Council members invited to attend, as well.
Another change is the location. The 2010 meeting will be held at the Hilton Omaha, 1001 Cass Street, Omaha, Nebraska. The hotel is located near Omaha's historic Old Market district where restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries line authentic cobblestone streets.
About the National Grain Car Council: The Council is a formal advisory committee to the Surface Transportation Board. Since 1994, the Council has provided the Board with views on supply and service issues regarding the nation's grain car fleet. The Council is composed of about 45 individuals representing railroads, shippers, and equipment businesses. The Council's mission and membership shares some similarities with TEGMA's mission and membership.
