National Grain Car Council

The 2011 meeting will once again be held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Surface Transportation Board's National Grain Car Council. We believe TEGMA and the Grain Car Council share many common interests and that this joint meeting will provide many synergies.

For those who may not be familiar with the Grain Car Council, it is a formal advisory committee to the Surface Transportation Board. The Council is composed of about 45 individuals representing railroads, shippers, and equipment businesses. Their meetings typically feature reports from carriers, shippers, and lease car companies on the harvest outlook and car supply. More information on the National Grain Car Council can be found here.

We hope you will plan to attend the Grain Car Council the afternoon of September 13 and then stay over for TEGMA's meeting on September 14.
