Stephen Nicholson
North American Head of Crops, RaboResearch

Stephen Nicholson serves as North American Head of Crops at RaboResearch, bringing more than 30 years of experience in grain markets, commodity analysis, procurement, hedging and risk management. Prior to joining Rabobank, he served as Category Manager and Chief Economist at International Food Products and Senior Economist and Oilseed Analyst at Doane Agricultural Services. His background also includes nearly 15 years in the food and beverage industry, with positions at The Earthgrains Company and The Coca-Cola Company, where he helped develop the company's first commodity risk management framework. Nicholson holds bachelor's and master's degrees in agriculture-related fields from Iowa State University.

Kevin Good
Vice President, Industry Relations and Analysis, CattleFax

Kevin Good serves as Vice President of Industry Relations and Analysis at CattleFax, where he has worked since 1982. His responsibilities include analyzing the Kansas and Oklahoma fed cattle markets and providing corporate partners with market insights to support management and marketing decisions. Good has extensive experience helping agricultural companies understand trends affecting commodity markets, with particular emphasis on animal proteins and the beef industry. His analysis focuses on supply and demand, production trends, weather and other factors influencing markets. Raised on a purebred cow/calf operation, Good earned a bachelor's degree in animal science from Kansas State University, where he participated in livestock and meats judging.

Kim Chipman
Congressional and Energy Editor, Agri-Pulse Communications

Kim Chipman has three decades of experience covering Washington, business and markets. As Congressional and Energy Editor for Agri-Pulse, she brings extensive reporting experience on agriculture, energy and public policy. Previously, she covered agriculture for Bloomberg News from Chicago, reporting on grain markets, biofuels and crop inputs. Her background also includes coverage of climate policy, political campaigns, the White House, international trade, extreme weather and energy regulations. Originally from Tennessee and Virginia, Chipman holds degrees from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and Northwestern University. Her reporting career spans a broad range of issues affecting agriculture, energy markets and federal policymaking.

Rebecca Middleton
Chief Advocacy & Engagement Officer, World Food Program USA

Rebecca Middleton serves as Chief Advocacy and Engagement Officer for World Food Program USA, where she leads efforts to educate Congress on the importance of U.S. support for the United Nations World Food Program. She brings more than 25 years of experience in policy, advocacy and strategy. Middleton began her career as a Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Frank Wolf before joining Cassidy & Associates as Vice President. She later served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the Alliance to End Hunger. She joined World Food Program USA in 2020 and serves on several nonprofit boards focused on ending hunger.

Bill Lapp
President, Advanced Economic Solutions

Bill Lapp is Founder and President of Advanced Economic Solutions, bringing more than 30 years of experience analyzing economic conditions and forecasting commodity markets. Previously, he served as Chief Economist for ConAgra Foods. Lapp is a frequent speaker at national industry conferences, including USDA's Annual Outlook Conference. He has served on numerous boards, including the Kansas City Board of Trade, Farm Foundation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Center for the Study of Rural America. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Southern Illinois University and a master's degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University.

Mike Torrey

Michael “Mike” Torrey is President and Founder of Torrey Advisory Group, a government relations and advocacy firm serving the food and agriculture sectors since 2005. He brings extensive experience in agricultural policy, government relations and industry leadership. Torrey previously served as an adviser to Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole and Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He has also held positions at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and advised presidential campaigns and transition teams. Throughout his career, Torrey has championed agricultural leadership development, coalition building and policies that strengthen the food and agriculture industries.
